Day 1 : MOUGINS - MOUSTIERS-SAINTE-MARIE (131 on 359 km)
Le Mas de Candille surrounded by a 4 hectare park covered with cypresses and centennial olive trees will provide you with a foretaste of a range of colors and scents from the South.
Mougins a medieval Provençal village perched on its hill with its narrow streets which wind as a snail expresses a Mediterranean atmosphere. You will admire the superb panorama from the church square place.
In Grasse the perfume capital, the side street shops will welcome you within a fragrance festival.
At the door of the Gorges of Loup you will discover Gourdon and its castle which towers above a breathtaking sheer cliff dropping towards the water stream.
A scenic road will lead you through the gorges up to the perched villages of Cipières and Gréolières.
You will continue this splendid journey in the upper valley of Loup, then you will travel around the mountain of Hubac to reach the Route Napoléon for a while. You will leave the road very quickly to head for the Clavel Pass.
Before arring in Comps-sur-Artuby you will not hesitate to leave your road to discover Bargème the highest village in the Var and one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France. It is towered by the ruins of a castle perched on a rocky spur at an altitude of more than 1 000 metres.
On top of the Comps, in a former Templar Seigniory, Saint-André church stands out a XIII th century Gothic building where you will have a beautiful view over the gorges Artuby.

You will leave at Aiguines and you will travel along the banks of Sainte-Croix lake to reach Moustiers.
