Enjoy the quietness of the Clairis banks while staying in the Clairis castle a XVIII th century home nestled in a 250 hectare park.

You will leave the Gâtinais country to reach the twists of the Yonne valley.

In this hilly countryside of the Basse Bourgogne, you will encounter typical villages such as Saint-Julien-du-Sault (XII th century) with its XIII th century church.

In the old quarters of Joigny, you will have the opportunity to amble in the narrow streets lined with old wood framed houses from the XVth and XVI th centuries.

You will climb the Côte Saint Jacques across the vines to enjoy a superb view over Joigny and the Yonne valley.

After having crossed the Abbesse forest you will discover the town of Villeneuve which has kept some XVIIIth and XIX th century houses at the heart of a wooded hill area and on the banks of Yonne,.

In Sens you will admire an outstanding heritage unit around the Saint-Etienne cathedral, its south gate is adorned with an impressing rose window.

After having watched the Fleurign castle you will leave Bourgogne to reach the Seine valley then the stretches of cereal cultures in the Paris Bassin.

Perched on a hill, the village of Rampillon owns a magnificent XII th century church which was a part of the Templars’ Commandership. Outstanding sculptures adorn the tympanum.

At the end of the day you will reach the Domain of Fontenailles.
