After having driven directly to the road of the Great Vintages, you will cross Gevrey-Chambertin at the mouth of la Combe de Lavaux, before reaching Morey-Saint Denis, then Vougeot and its castle.

Property of the Cîteaux abbey from the XIIth century to the Révolution, le Clos de Vougeot remains one of the most famous vineyard from la Côte.

The castle tour enables the visitor to discover a superb house built during the Renaissance time. It will provide the visitor with the opportunity to taste one of the most famous vintage of Bourgogne. You will leave the vineyard hills to drive towards Cîteaux abbey.

As Cluny, Cîteaux remains a major place of the Western world. A stop at the abbey will enable you to improve your historical, artistic and gourmet knowledge.

You will drive back towards Saulon-la Rue by following small countryside roads scattered with agricultural villages.
