The castle of Agneaux is a superb home built with local stones in the XIIth century on the banks of the river Vire.

At Pont Brocard you will travel into the Soulles valley up to Coutances. Its Norman Gothic style cathedral was spared from the World War II bombings.

Before reaching the western shore of the Cotentin peninsula you will discover the Gratot castle, its architecture saw numerous modifications decided by the Arganges family between the Xvth and the XVIIIth centuries.

In Gouville you will discover the first seaside town of the ocean. By touring along the beaches Passage de la Déroute, you will encounter the Pirou castle one of the rare medieval fortresses perfectly maintained in Normandy.

On the edge of the Cotentin and Bessin marshes at Lessay you will discover an abbey of a particularly pure Roman style and its church tower covered with a schist roof.

Travelling along the coast you will have the possibility to amble on the customs trail which runs around the Cape of Carteret and to discover a superb panorama over the whole seaside resorts between Portbail and Barneville. Farther you will distinguish the small tourist train which dawdles along the beaches to connect these two towns.

Before reaching Bricquebec and its castle you will make a detour through the bocage in its middle you will discover at Fierville the only wind mill which still makes flour in Normandy.
