Between Breton land and sea, pink granite coast and enclosed parochial units

The Sphinx manor which is perched on Pink granite Coast the reveals a splendid view over the Trestignel bay.

Before leaving Perros-Guirec you will discover a vast panorama over the coast, the Sept Iles, including l’Ile aux Moines, a paradise for marine birds to be seen from the panoramic view point.

Before reaching Lannion, you will make a detour via Pleumeur-Bodou the telecommunication centre of which originates the first transatlantic connection via satellite.

In the side streets of the old Lannion you will discover the façades of the Xvth and XVIth century corbelled construction houses.

You will reach the coast through the Léguer estuary. After Saint-Michel-en-Grève the road will cross a scenic area of a wooded coast towered by the « Grand Rocher» mass.

The journey will continue along the Lannion bay via the corniche of Armorique. A stop in Locquirec will give the opportunity to admire the village church, its Renaissance church tower and its XVIth century altar piece. It is a must to visit the Saint-Jean-du-Doigt enclosed parochial unit, the church of which houses a real treasure.

The Morlaix harbour is now present. The town is nestled in the shade of an imposing viaduct at the very end of the estuary, Below superb houses with decorated wood frame façades agglutinate in the quarter of the Sainte-Mélaine church (XVth century).

You will reach Carantec through the opposite shore of Morlaix bay on the peninsula which separates the Penzé estuary.

In the distance you will distinguish Roscoff, the end of the Itinerary.
