After a night in full nature at the « Vieilles Tours » a XVIIth century manor house you will attend a unique show.
In the sunrise and with the stare of the dragon and the seven sanctuaries, the closely gathered old houses awake and vanish into the ochre colors of the cliffs.

As a major site of the medieval Christendom do not miss the visit of the religious city which has become one of the most important stopping point on Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle path.

You will resume your travel through the Causse of Gramat where you will visit the Lacave caves.
At the confluent of the Ouysse and the Dordogne rivers you will discover the Belcastel castle towering the valley from its rocky spur. Travel up the Dordogne river up to the Creysse bridge and its old houses which nestle at the foot of a spur sheltering a XVth century castle and its XIIth century Roman chapel.

You will leave the Dordogne valley to reach one of the Haut-Quercy Causses and you will discover the legendary city where Charles Martel defeated for good the Arabs further to the Poitiers battle. You will travel back to Souillac so that you will follow the Dordogne flows in the direction of the Black Périgord .

Before reaching the Salardais area you will be impressed by the walled town of Domme perched on a cliff where you will discover the patchwork of the canoe colours which sail on the river.
While enjoying the end of afternoon sun which lights up the high grey cliff you will admire the Roque-Gageac site.
