Before leaving Ménerbes, do not miss to go and see the beautiful Horloge square. From the terrace you will watch this majestic landscape where you make out Gordes, Roussillon and the Ventoux.
You will cross the Calavon valley so that you will approach the "star" among the villages of Luberon.

From the arranged platform below you will admire Gordes, this village perched on the cliff at the far end of the Vaucluse plateau. The dried-stone houses, golden by the time are entangled with the imposing mass of the castle until the foothills.
When leaving Gordes you will approach again the plateau of Vaucluse with its fields of lavender. In the bottom of a small valley you will be struck by the view of the famous Senanque abbey.

After crossing the Nesque valley you will travel gradually towards the Côtes-du-Rhône vineyards.
On the first foothills the Montmirail laces, you will tour Beaumes-de-Venise known for its famous muscat wine.
This wine-oriented itinerary will continue within one of the most famous Côtes-du-Rhône soil namely Gigondas.

Before reaching Vaison-la-Romaine do not forget to stop at Séguret, one of the most scenic villages of the area. The effort to climb up to the orientation table will reward the visitor with an ultimate glance over this superb itinerary.
