During the second day you will reach the Luberon with its landscapes and its perched villages so typically Provençal.
Grambois is a perfect example of this typical setting which appeared in several films about the proper area life and habits.
You will travel at the foot of the highest summit of the Luberon mountain. The summit of Mourre Nègre provides a vast panorama which overlooks your tour and the Durance river.
After crossing La Motte-d'Aigues, you will have a stop at Cucuron a small typical village which has protected a church with a Roman time nave. Besides the view from the platform at the foot of the keep, over the Cucuron basin and the Moutain Sainte-Victoire deserves a longer visit. Lourmarin is famous for its castle where many writers of repute stayed there such as Henri Bosco and Albert Camus who lies today in this Provence land.
Your journey will continue through the narrow gorges of Aigue Brun. This twisted road will lead you to Bonnieux, one of the large perched villages in Luberon. From the hill, the terrace of Bonnieux provides a magnificent view over the Calavon valley.
To end this itinerary you will experience one of the most famous villages in Luberon.
