Le Mont Saint-Michel would deserve a whole day in this itinerary.
However the Cotentin harbours so many extra richnesses. After having left the fine sand beaches you will encounter medieval cities, abbeys and castles from this wonderful region on the verdant roads of the Norman bocage.
