The Moulins castle a XIIth century standing at the heart of an immense park will offer a setting enriched with a noble elegance, coffer ceilings, monumental mantelpieces and period furniture.

Leave the castle park to reach the National forest of Blois and to sink in the King valley.

Louis XII, François Ier, Henri III and the Duke of Guise marked Blois and its castle. In the old Blois you will discover homes in the purest Renaissance style inserted between superb houses with white façades blue roofs and red chimneys.

At the heart of Sologne here is the Blois forest then the Russy one. The Beauregard castle appears outside the forest with its gallery of renowned characters. When arriving in Cheverny, its outline will ring a bell: it is the Moulinsart castle where Tintin and Milou would pay a visit to captain Haddock.

The harmonious stone façade of Bourré opens on an immense park which shelters the kennels of one of the last French packs of hunt with hounds.

Vines, prairies, ponds and forests follow each other until Chambord, a marvel from the Renaissance, a real craze decided by François Ist an art lover, probably set by Léonard de Vinci. When you cross the park you will discover the magic of the heather moors as well as the ponds in the shade of the melancholic large woods.

You will cross back the river Loire to discover Talcy, the castle of Cassandre’s loves, recognized by par Ronsard.

Return to the banks of the river in order to reach your home for the evening at Beaugency.
